Cochrane Library: The Cochrane Library is designed to supply evidence-based information to people providing and receiving care, and those responsible for research, teaching, funding and administration at all levels. The Cochrane Library contains: Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, The Database of Abstracts of Reviews of Effectiveness (DARE) and Cochrane Controlled Trials Register. This resource can be accessed from the UA network or remotely using your CWID.

Exam Master: This resource is restricted to the medical students, faculty, and staff of CCHS. EXAM MASTER Online is a way to study for the USMLE, clerkship mini-boards, board certification exams, and to review medical subjects.  It provides users with access to the United States Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE) question bank, as well as study outlines for a number of medical specialty boards.  Altogether we have access to 16,000 questions and explanations.

First Consult: This is a point-of-care resource available from Elsevier. It is completely integrated into CCHS's MDConsult and can also be accessed directly. First Consult is available on the CCHS network as well as remotely using a password.

Harrison’s Online: An electronic version of Harrison’s Principles of Internal Medicine. This resource is available on any computer on the CCHS network or by password.

MDConsult: This resource is designed to help you answer clinical questions and stay current with the latest in medicine.  It includes more than 50 medical texts and over 80 medical journals.  Practice guidelines, drug information, patient education handouts (including Spanish), a CME center, and other health-related information are also included.  Now, First Consult is completely integrated into MDConsult. MDConsult is available for use on any computer on the CCHS network or by password.

Natural Standard: This is a database that provides high quality, evidence-based information about complementary and alternative therapies. This resource is available on any computer on the CCHS network.

PubMed: This is the National Library of Medicine’s public interface for searching MEDLINE. It is a database of over 17 million indexed references to biomedical journal articles for medical journals worldwide.
