The College of Community Health Sciences is dedicated to research in the healthcare field. Currently, many of our faculty are conducting research and managing research projects.
Through our Community and Rural Medicine department, we have established an Institure for Rural Health Research and Rural Programs, with research emphasis in rural healthcare and public health.
The College also is active in research associated with Clinical Trials, often with members of our faculty as primary investigators.
The CCHS Research Committee is also in place to assist our faculty as well as other University of Alabama faculty in designing research projects that would include CCHS.
The Institute of Rural Health Research (IRHR) sponsors the annual Rural Health Conference, which attracts officials from public health, rural medicine and social welfare organizations. |
